That’s why we offer a 6-Month Warranty Guarantee, along with a fair and transparent return and refund process designed to give our customers peace of mind.

6-Month Warranty Guarantee

All engines and eligible OEM parts purchased from McClain Auto Parts are backed by a 6-month warranty starting from the date of delivery.

This warranty covers:

  • Internal engine component failure
  • Manufacturing defects
  • Major mechanical issues that affect engine performance
  • OEM parts found to be defective upon normal use

If a covered issue occurs within the warranty period, we will:

  • Repair the item, or
  • Replace the item with an equivalent unit, or
  • Issue a full or partial refund if repair or replacement is not possible

Our goal is to resolve warranty issues quickly and fairly while minimizing downtime for our customers.


Returns Policy

We understand that sometimes a product may not meet your expectations or may not be compatible with your vehicle. We allow returns under the following conditions:

Standard Returns (Non-Defective Items)

Customers may request a return within 30 days of delivery if:

  • The item is unused and uninstalled
  • The item is in its original condition
  • All original packaging and documentation are included
  • The item has not been modified, damaged, or tampered with

Once the returned item is inspected and approved, we will issue:

  • A full refund, or
  • Store credit (based on customer preference)

Return shipping costs for non-defective items may be the responsibility of the customer.


Defective or Damaged Items

If your order arrives defective, damaged, or incorrect, please notify us within 7 days of delivery.

In such cases:

  • We will arrange repair or replacement at no additional cost, or
  • Provide a full refund, including original shipping costs if applicable

We may request photos or videos to verify the issue and speed up the process.


Engine Return Requirements

Because engines are high-value mechanical components, the following conditions apply:

  • Engines must be installed by a licensed mechanic or professional installer
  • Proof of installation (receipt or invoice) may be required
  • Proper maintenance procedures must be followed
  • Engines must not be disassembled without prior authorization
  • Oil, coolant, and required fluids must be used during installation

Failure to follow proper installation procedures may void warranty eligibility.


Refund Processing

Once your returned item is received and inspected:

  • Approved refunds are processed within 3–7 business days
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method whenever possible
  • Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider

You will be notified once your refund has been issued.


Exchanges

If you received the wrong item or need a replacement part:

  • Exchanges are available based on inventory availability
  • We will ship the replacement as quickly as possible
  • If the replacement item is unavailable, a refund will be issued

Non-Returnable Items

The following items may not be eligible for return:

  • Installed or used engines (unless defective under warranty)
  • Custom-built or special-order engines
  • Electrical components once installed
  • Items damaged due to misuse, improper installation, or neglect

Warranty Claim Process

To start a warranty claim:

  1. Contact our support team with your order details
  2. Provide photos, videos, or documentation of the issue
  3. Allow our technical team to review the claim
  4. Follow return or repair instructions provided

We aim to review warranty claims within 1–3 business days.
